The total package in the poly bag
API continued focus on quality, strength and durability is evident in the full line of bags available, including Co-Xxtra Bags, Touch-N-Go Bags, Gusseted Produce Bags and Wet Umbrella Bags.
The strength of co-extrusion
All of our bags are produced using two-layer co-extrusion technology. This process ensures that gauge for gauge, thickness for thickness, our bags are stronger than any mono-layer bag. Advanced color process printing and in-house graphic designers will produce eye-catching bags. We also offer a Seasonal Bag Program that features a variety of colorful designs with seasonal themes. Color
Process Printing
- This technique uses four stations to blend yellow, magenta, cyan and black to
produce colorful logos, illustrations, or photographs. Choose
from our High Density or Co-XXtra® T-shirt bags. We can manufacture t-shirt
bags with your original artwork, or let our team of graphic designers prepare
a photo-real image for you. Our new color process printing can be the colorful
idea your company has been looking for. Co-XXtra® Bags carry their weight.
Lightweight, high-performance Advance Co-Xxtra bags are the next generation in plastic bags. These co-extruded (HDPE/LLDPE) bags provide the strength and durability of high-density polyethylene with the superior appearance, feel and function of low-density polyethylene. Touch-N-GoŽ keep things moving.
Our revolutionary Touch-N-Go grocery bags are designed to self-open when the preceding bag is filled and removed - saving time, effort and money. Touch-N-Go bags help your front end operation run more quickly and smoothly - providing the ultimate in speed and ease of use to ensure maximum efficiency.
We
are now carrying Gusseted Produce Bags
and Wet Umbrella Bags. Please call us today
for ordering or more information. Environmentally
Friendly Our
bags reduce the weight of traditional containers by three quarters. They are waterproof
and approximately 150% stronger than paper. Plastic
bags also help reduce depletion of our forests by paper manufacturers, preserving
the beauty of our landscape and maintaining the quality of our atmosphere. Energy
conservation is very important at API. The manufacturing process of plastic
bags uses about 1/2 the amount of energy to manufacture as paper bags and recycling
of plastic bags require only about 2% as much energy to recycle as in new manufacturing.
In contrast, paper uses as much as 50% more energy to recycle as in new manufacturing.
Clearly, plastic is an energy efficient alternative to paper. When
disposed of properly, plastic bags are nontoxic and take up an estimated 6.5%
of space in municipal landfills. Paper consumes approximately 41%. In waste to
energy recycling, plastic gives off almost 2 times the energy of coal.
